தமிழ் அரசியல் கைதிகளை விடுவிக்க வலியுறுத்தி யாழ்ப்பாணப் பல்கலைக்க மாணவர்கள் கடந்த 9ஆம் திகதி ஆரம்பித்த நடைபவனி, இன்று வவுனியா மதவாச்சியிலிருந்து ஆரம்பமானது.
அரசியல் கைதிகளின் விவகாரம் ஓர் சட்ட விவகாரம் அல்ல என்றும், அது ஓர் அரசியல் விவகாரம் எனம் தெரிவித்து, தமிழ் அரசியல் கைதிகளை நிபந்தனையின்றி விடுவிக்க வலியுறுத்தி யாழ்ப்பாணப் பல்கலைக்கழக மாணவர்களால் கடந்த வியாழக்கிழமை யாழ்ப்பாணப் பல்கலைக்கழக வளாகத்திலிருந்து ஆரம்பிக்கப்பட்ட நடைபவனியின் 5ஆம் நாள் இன்றாகும்.
நடைபவனியின் முதலாம் நாள் யாழ் பல்கலைக்கழக மாணவர்கள் பல்கலைக்கழக முன்றலில் இருந்து நடைபவனியை ஆரம்பித்த நிலையில், கிளிநொச்சி வவுனியா ஊடாக அநுராதபுர சிறைச்சாலை வரை தமது நடைபயணத்தை மேற்கொள்ளத் தீர்மானித்துள்ளனர்.
இதற்கமைய நேற்று வவுனியா மதவாச்சி பிரதேசத்தைச் சென்றடைந்த யாழ் பல்கலைக்கழக மாணவர்களின் நடைபவனி, இன்று காலை அனுராதபுரம் சிறைச்சாலை நோக்கிப் புறப்பட்டது.
